Well, today is the day after that lovey dovey holiday filled with flowers and candies and romantic dinners and lovely gestures. And it certainly means that we are welcoming some new members to the oh so special club of “the newly engaged” and best wishes to each and every one of you!
And unless you have been hiding under a rock (and I don’t mean that one on your finger), you have probably managed to notice one of spring’s fashion trends that’s taking the bridal world by storm – pastels. Buttercup, Mint, Lilac, Cherryblossom. Spotted on runways from Acra to KaveZa, is it any surprise that these lovely shades draw inspiration from the world of flora?
My personal faves? Monique Lhuillier’s Peony. A gorgeously simple trumpet number in the palest of peachy pink silk jacquards. The perfect inspiration for this gorgeous color and floral palette I put together for a 2012 bride-to-be!
